HAL were asked to replace an underused conservatory with a new single-storey extension to create a larger kitchen and dining area. The extension features a vaulted ceiling, creating a bright, airy space, with bi-fold doors providing direct access to the garden.
A Certificate of Lawfulness was obtained to build the extension under permitted development rights. HAL also guided the project through the Building Regulations process, and the extension has now been successfully completed with a high end and tasteful fit out by the client.
'If anyone doubts whether hiring an architect is a waste of time or money, we can assure you it is not! Even for a small extension project like ours, the number of processes involved can be very daunting. Pam has dealt with all the tedious planning applications and associated paperwork, leaving us to concentrate on getting excited about our new build! She has replied to all our queries immediately, creating detailed plans for the builders to work from (for which they are very grateful!). We have been impressed with the helpful, friendly and professional way in which Pam has dealt with us and the planning process and we have no hesitation in recommending her to others.'
